Too Faced - Sweet Peach.

I've finally got my hands on one of my most wanted eye shadow palettes!

Too Faced - Sweet Peach.

Too Faced is one of them high end makeup brands which I can't say I own a lot from. Not really sure why, it's just never been a staple to the makeup collection. I'm kind of boring and stick to what I know and love.

I was gifted this one by some friends for my birthday which was lovely. They were probably fed up of me picking it up near enough every time I went shopping and popping it back because I wasn't sure! Oh god am I glad they did though because I love it.

The first time I used it was for my birthday party the night after. Risky using a palette you've never used before on a night you really want to make sure you look good on! Definitely a risk worth taking!
I think the one thing that caught my attention is the fact that all the shades are very neutral which is usually the kind of look I end up going for. I very much play it on the safe side when doing eye looks as I'm not exactly a makeup artist! You know what suits you and I tend to stick to that.

First off, this palette is meant to smell like peaches. It definitely lives up to it's name and is such a refreshing smell when you're working on that perfect cut crease!
The first thing I noticed when I was giving this a go for the first time was how pigmented the shades are. If there is one thing I hate it's a low pigment on an eye shadow. I'm also not a massive fan of matte eye shadows. I love a bit of glitter or something that's really going to make my eyes pop. There's a good helping of shimmer with a lot of the shades and 'nectar' and 'luscious' give me that perfect glow for the inner corners of the eye. Don't get me wrong I still go for a bit of matte here and there and this palette allows you to have the best of both worlds.

I had a bit of a photo dilemma, all the photos I took in good lighting didn't seem to quite show off the eye look I went for so I had to throw on a better top than my baggy bright yellow pyjama top to grab a better selfie! The selfie not so great but at least it shows off the colour a little better I suppose. The better photos have to be the instagram ones though right?!

Now Too Faced is definitely more of a luxury purchase as it is retailed at £39.
I personally don't think this is too bad for a high end palette is there are 18 shadows to choose from and comes with a mirror which is essential if you're one for doing your makeup on the go. I tend to do my makeup while sat on my bed so having an eye shadow palette with a mirror makes that a lot easier.

I would definitely think about getting myself some other Too Faced products in the future.
